Community Promise
As a former RA, Lead Tutor at the Davis Medical Education Center, and classroom educator, I have had plenty of experience fostering a sense of community. These positions all prepared me for the responsibility of creating spaces where people feel safe and welcomed by their supervisor and peers. Above all else, in order to be successful, we must be equipped with pride, treated with respect, and valued for who we are.
I am very proud to say that I have earned a certificate of High Proficiency in Intercultural Competency and Diversity from the Educational Testing Service. I am committed to making every student and co-worker feel valued, regardless of background or identity. Diversity is what makes a community great, and I intend to embody that sentiment in every aspect of my life. It is amazing what we can achieve when we are surrounded with support.
